Our scientific studies for
                        April, May and June...

Art & Science Fair - May 19th

Third grade students will learn about Animal Behaviors and Adaptations.  We will take a look at Mammals, Reptiles, Birds, Fish, Amphibians, and Insects. The students will study the basic needs of living things, and understand food chains/food webs. By raising tadpoles from eggs, students will learn about the process of metamorphosis.

Fourth grade students will learn about the Life Cycle of Plants. We will grow different plants, study their parts, understand the basic needs of plants, and analyze the human impact on plant life. We will study Renewable and Non-renewable resources

Fifth grade students will take a closer look at plants and animals through the use of microscopes. They will learn about the scientific Classification of Living Things. We will study the impact of pollutants on living things.
