In Music Class this
year, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade
will continue their
talents in singing during Chorus rehearsals as we prepare for our Annual
Spring Concert on May 26, 2011.A
letter will go home with further details as we get closer to the date.
In addition,
3rd grade will be introduced to the recorder instrument which
will help reinforce their note/rhythm reading skills!
The 4th grade will continue to implement note-reading as
they are introduced to the keyboard. They will have opportunities to play
songs for each other as they progress throughout the school year.
Grade 5
will be learning about the instruments in the orchestra and their
families, various composers such as Camille Saint-Seans, and various
styles of music and their influences.
