multi sensory phonic activities with differentiated word lists to
improve their knowledge of the structure of words and the English
language.
October – March - New Jersey Ask Review Unit - Open Ended
Questions, Responding to a Poem, Writing a Narrative for Speculative
Prompts, Math Missions and Written Explanations to Open Ended Math
Problems, H.W. Groups & Practice Test.

March - June – Biography Bonanza Project – Students read a
biography which they use to complete word study activities, create
responses to open ended questions and write a speech about an important
person.
*Parents will be invited to the performance of speeches in June.
