Welcome to the Nurse's Office
Mrs. Meg Goss,

Notes from the Nurse
We have gotten off to a great start at Alexander Hamilton School
this year. A few reminders:
- Please call the Health Office if your child will be
out for any reason. Parents can email the nurse
as well at meg.goss@msdk12.net.
- Children can call themselves out if a parent permits it.
- You also need to send in a note with your child when they return to
school.
- Also, please remind children to wash their hands often. We can
help prevent infection in school and at home by encouraging good
hand washing.
- Send a box of tissues in for your child’s class.
- Please consider sending in a spare sweater or sweatshirt for your
child to keep in school in case the classroom gets cool. This is
healthier than the children wearing their coats all day in class.
- We will keep trying to get outdoors for recess. Please make sure
your child has a warm coat, hat and gloves for mid day play.
- All of us use food as fuel for our bodies. Let’s put the best fuel in
our bodies to get the best results. Children grow and learn best
when they are fueled best!
- Please, keep us updated on any phone contact information AS
SOON AS YOU CAN!

Be sure to include the following information:
Student's Name
Date of Absence
Reason for absence
Additional information if necessary
Send an e-mail
to the school nurse for other reasons. |
Please be sure that your
Emergency Contact Form IS UP TO DATE!
As always, please remember to call
and let us know if your child will miss school for any reason. This
includes all illnesses, vacations and other appointments.
Students must
stay home if they have a fever. They may NOT return to school unless they
have been fever free for a full 24 hours. Please do not give your child
Tylenol or Motrin and send them to school sick.
