Do you need financial assistance to send your

child to preschool?

If you are committed to education but lack the funds to provide a strong academic and social preschool experience for your child, PROJECT ACORN may be able to help.

What is Project Acorn?

·        Project Acorn is a not-for-profit program that could pay for the first two years of your child’s schooling.

·        Students are selected to attend half-day preschool programs to prepare them for kindergarten.

·        Spaces are available in excellent preschools in Morris County and surrounding communities for the school year beginning September 2008.

How do I know if I qualify for Project Acorn?

·        Your child will be at least 3 years old by October 1, 2008.

·        You can demonstrate financial need by completing a simple 4-page application.

·        You value education and can confirm it with a letter of recommendation from a sponsor (pastor, doctor, employer etc.)

How do I apply?

Contact the Project Acorn office by calling 973-455-7815 to request an application or download an application from our website www.projectacorn.org. Completed applications are due at Project Acorn by February 15th, 2008. Applications received after this date will be reviewed based on program availability.
