Do you need financial assistance to send your

child to preschool?

If you are committed to education but lack the funds to provide a strong academic and social preschool experience for your child, PROJECT ACORN may be able to help.

What is Project Acorn? 

·        Project Acorn is a not-for-profit program that could pay for the first two years of your child’s schooling.

·        Students are selected to attend half-day preschool programs to prepare them for kindergarten.

·        Spaces are available in excellent preschools in Morris County and surrounding communities for the school year beginning September 2008.

How do I know if I qualify for Project Acorn?

·        Your child will be at least 3 years old by October 1, 2008.

·        You can demonstrate financial need by completing a simple 4-page application.

·        You value education and can confirm it with a letter of recommendation from a sponsor (pastor, doctor, employer etc.)

How do I apply?

Contact the Project Acorn office by calling 973-455-7815 to request an application or download an application from our website www.projectacorn.org. Completed applications are due at Project Acorn by February 15^th, 2008. Applications received after this date will be reviewed based on program availability.
