ALL STUDENTS are responsible for practicing and being prepared for lessons. Students receive a lesson assignment at every lesson...there are never weeks where a student doesn't have homework. In addition to the assignment in the lesson book, students are always expected to spend time on their band or orchestra music, as well. This is an ongoing assignment, and not put on the practice chart each week.

 Missed lessons or absence from school do not excuse a student from preparing for their next lesson. Students are EXPECTED to check with Ms. Bowers or one of their classmates if they miss a lesson, and to practice the material assigned. You may email Ms. Bowers for the assignment as well. Please do not email the night before you lesson...I probably won't be able to help you then. If you do not understand something in the assignment, email Miss B and be as specific as possible about you question, or ask someone else in your group to explain it to you.
